Kim II is golden retriever/black lab cross born in the CCI program.  She graduated from puppy school to advanced training with CCI in May 2001.  After 3 months of work there she was picked up by the LPAD program and was in advanced training there for a couple of months but decided she did not like formal training and was released and adopted by a young man and his 78 year old mother in Sacramento, CA as a companion dog.

Joy is golden retriever born in the LPAD program. Joy was in puppy school with me until the end of October 2001 when we returned her to Santa Rosa, CA for evaluation and advanced training with both Loving Paws Assistance Dogs and Guide Dogs however, Joy became depressed without me and refused to work or eat. She was released back to me in January 2002. After a period of readjustment, I registered Joy with Therapy Dogs, Inc. Go to the Therapy Dogs section for more information and pictures of Joy as a therapy dog.

Joy was acknowledged for her therapy dog work by the American Red Cross. As part of their annual Hero's tribute banquet they presented Joy with a plaque and flowers naming her the 2002 Pet Hero.
